About the role

Role overview

Revit Designer (Remote, PST only) supporting modular, large-scale commercial projects across an approximately 14-month project lifecycle. The role combines hands-on Revit production with coordination, design reviews, and stakeholder management for highly visible fulfillment center and operational facility projects.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and update composite designs, revisions, and modular components in Revit.
  • Create and modify module drawings and floor plans from redlines and approved design direction.
  • Review SIM tickets to understand design requirements, scope, and constraints.
  • Identify missing/unclear design inputs and provide feedback to Change Management.
  • Lead and participate in design review calls, capturing and distributing minutes, decisions, and action items.
  • Coordinate architectural and engineering design inputs to keep disciplines aligned throughout the lifecycle.
  • Attend team/project meetings to resolve issues and maintain schedule alignment.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations for scope, schedule, and deliverables.
  • Support the full design lifecycle: track progress and ensure milestones are met.
  • Obtain and document project specifics (e.g., site selection, transaction management, early planning).
  • Research site information (surveys, existing drawings, site visits, site constraints).
  • Coordinate architectural/engineering specifications, standards, and internal requirements.
  • Support initial architectural design packages and permit submittals.
  • Develop documents for lease execution (site plans, work letters, schedules, phasing plans).
  • Assist with preliminary construction schedules, phasing, and capital planning documentation.
  • Support due diligence and utility coordination prior to construction handoff.
  • Prepare construction handoff documentation (drawings, permits, contacts, schedules, capital request details).
  • Maintain organized repositories of pre-construction/design deliverables by site.
  • Manage multiple large commercial projects simultaneously while maintaining consistent quality.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Revit for architectural design, floor plan development, and construction documentation.
  • Experience in architectural design/drafting for large-scale operational facilities (e.g., fulfillment centers, warehouses, industrial buildings).
  • Ability to translate operational/functional requirements into buildable floor plans and modular layouts.
  • Experience with iterative workflows (responding to redlines and coordinating updates across teams).
  • Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and disciplines.
  • Strong skills in layout, floor plan development, and detailed commercial drafting.
  • Ability to manage and track design tasks across a long project lifecycle.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD for coordination/integration with legacy drawings.
  • Experience with composite designs, modular components, and multi-phase execution.
