Role Overview

Handshake is looking for experienced retail operations professionals to support AI research through flexible, part-time contract work. This ongoing, project-based opportunity lets you use hands-on retail operations knowledge to evaluate AI outputs and provide feedback that reflects real store and inventory workflows.

Responsibilities

Create expert-level training questions and scenarios based on real retail operations workflows
Review and evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance to store operations and inventory management
Provide structured written feedback to help improve AI model performance
Complete tasks at your own pace in a remote, asynchronous setting

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in retail operations management (e.g., Retail Operations Manager or Director)
Hands-on experience with workflows such as:
- Store performance reporting
- Cash and inventory reconciliation
- Warehouse receiving
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
