Role Overview

Residential Real Estate Title Search Quality Control at Pippin Title. You’ll work with the title search team to produce and review residential title searches and reports, ensuring legal accuracy and adherence to quality standards before delivery to clients.

Responsibilities

• Review completed title searches for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client-specific SOPs.
• Examine and analyze title-related documents (e.g., deeds, mortgages, property taxes, estate/inheritance taxes, liens, judgments, easements/restrictions, bankruptcy filings, foreclosures, plats/maps).
• Determine legal conditions of properties, including verifying legal descriptions.
• Analyze chain of title, identify defects, and prepare title-related reports.
• Review records from outside abstractors and request additional information from ground abstractors when needed.
• Synthesize findings into property reports and title commitments.
• Enter extracted details accurately into reporting tools/software with strong attention to formatting and clarity.
• Support Customer Service by responding to order-related inquiries and communicating important updates/clarifications with customers.

Requirements

• 1–4 years as a title abstractor/examiner (required), including online search experience.
• Familiarity with state guidelines and searching property tax jurisdictions (state/city/county/school) online.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate data extraction and professionally formatted outputs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel).

Contract/Work Details

• Full-time remote role; expected to work 8 hours/day, 5 days/week.
