About the role
Role overview
Resident Solutions Architect (RSA) in the United States. Lead the design and implementation of advanced cloud-native architectures for large-scale data and AI initiatives, working closely with engineering, data science, and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end architectures on Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake for large-scale ingestion, ELT, and advanced analytics
- Architect medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) lakehouse patterns with batch and real-time pipelines
- Enable ML/AI capabilities using MLflow, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and related libraries within collaborative workspaces
- Define and enforce security standards, including RBAC, SCIM, SAML, SSO, and secrets management; deploy in customer-controlled VPCs and maintain compliance
- Integrate Tableau and Power BI and ensure interoperability across ecosystems
- Provide technical leadership through documentation and mentorship to engineering and data science teams
- Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture, data engineering, or similar roles
- Strong expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake
- Experience designing secure cloud-native architectures in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Hands-on data analytics experience with SQL, Python, R, or Scala
- Deep understanding of ACID transactions, data versioning, and point-in-time querying
- Practical experience with AI/ML model development, deployment, or integration
- Knowledge of data governance and security controls, including RBAC with Unity Catalog
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
Preferred / nice-to-haves
- Experience with large-scale federal or healthcare data platforms
- Experience with MLflow, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost
- CI/CD pipeline experience; GitHub integration
- Relevant cloud/Databricks certifications
