About the role
Role Overview
As a Product Designer at Starter, you’ll design intuitive, engaging user experiences that balance user needs and business goals. You’ll partner with product managers, engineers, and designers to take ideas from concept to reality.
Responsibilities
- Design user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Conduct user research and usability testing to guide design decisions
- Develop and maintain the design system and component library
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately
- Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of professional product design experience
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
- Experience working in cross-functional product teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
