Renewals Deal Desk Analyst

Role overview

As a Renewals Deal Desk Analyst, you will enforce renewal policies by validating renewal orders/contracts and keeping order and contract data accurate. You’ll support renewal inquiries, collaborate cross-functionally to improve renewals processes and systems, and help with combined deals and concessions.

Responsibilities

• Enforce company renewal policies by verifying the accuracy of renewal orders/contracts
• Maintain and manage order and contract data
• Support renewal-related inquiries
• Collaborate with management and other teams on cross-functional projects to improve renewals processes, systems, and customer experience
• Assist with combined deals and concessions
• Lead/manage a team member and provide coaching, mentoring, and help with business escalations

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a deal desk, order management, or billing role
• People management experience
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Understanding of deal support/commercial topics, including basic accounting, revenue (ASC 606), and billing principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret and act on data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across teams
• Detail-oriented; able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

Nice-to-haves / Additional signals

• Familiarity with SaaS order methodology and software delivery
• SFDC and CPQ proficiency (hands-on)
• Knowledge of compliance requirements for order/data management (e.g. SOX, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
