Remote UX/UI Design Lead

Role overview

You will lead UX/UI design for a partner company’s customer-facing website for HVAC products. The work focuses on improving conversion and simplifying complex buying decisions through landing pages, user journeys, and an evolving design system.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX strategy, visual design, and interface systems across the entire website
• Design high-conversion landing pages targeting 100+ HVAC buyer intents
• Create end-to-end UI/UX flows for a new interactive guided buying experience
• Build and maintain a design system (typography, components, responsive structure)
• Redesign mobile-first user journeys to improve clarity and user trust
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
• Support brand identity refresh and visual storytelling across the site

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing complex consumer-facing products or e-commerce experiences
• Strong portfolio demonstrating elegant UX systems and clean visual design
• Ability to simplify complex decision flows into intuitive user journeys
• Strong visual taste and attention to detail
• Experience working closely with developers in a cohesive product environment
• Comfort with iterative design, prototyping, and data-informed decision making
