Senior Web Developer (Remote)

You will lead and own the rebuild and ongoing development of a WordPress-based website, ensuring strong performance, SEO integrity, and accurate attribution/analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the rebuild of a WordPress website with a focus on performance, scalability, and conversion
• Own and maintain the site, creating landing, location, and service pages using a reusable component library
• Ensure optimal page speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile-first accessibility compliance
• Manage website security and technical configuration, including caching and environment setup on Cloudflare and WP Engine
• Implement schema markup / structured data
• Perform full-site migrations without loss of SEO or tracking
• Set up and troubleshoot analytics and attribution, including GTM, GA4, and tracking across multiple ad channels
• Collaborate with SEO strategists and senior leadership, with direct communication channels

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on web development experience
• Deep expertise in WordPress and Elementor Pro
• Strong PHP skills for custom functions and theme modifications
• Experience configuring Cloudflare and WP Engine environments
• Expertise in analytics, attribution, and schema implementation
• Proven experience leading site migrations while optimizing for speed and SEO (especially for local businesses)
• Excellent written English and ability to work during Pacific Time Zone hours
