Remote - Senior User Experience Designer

Role overview

Senior User Experience (UX) Designer at Striveworks, working cross-functionally to evolve product and platform user experience. You’ll design user-centered solutions that make sophisticated machine learning workflows intuitive for expert users.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Data Science to understand user needs, define user flows, and communicate design decisions that influence product strategy.
• Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and feedback analysis to drive rapid, iterative improvements and validate assumptions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma; synthesize market research and product strategy to deliver end-to-end experiences.
• Own and evolve the design system to enable faster, more consistent collaboration across product, design, and engineering.
• Help integrate AI-assisted design workflows into team processes and foster a user-centric culture focused on experimentation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant UX/HCI experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in UX design, HCI, or related field.
• Portfolio showing not only craft, but systems thinking and strategic impact (e.g., how your work shaped product direction).
• Deep proficiency with Figma.
• Demonstrated ability to drive alignment across product, engineering, and design teams without direct authority.
• Eagerness to work on the frontier of AI-assisted/agentic design and how agentic tools shape product design and development.
• Proactive, self-directed approach; energized by ambiguity.
• Eligibility constraint: role requires candidates to be a US person (as stated in the posting).

Nice to have

• Experience working on design systems and AI/ML workflow products (implied by responsibilities).
