Remote - Senior User Experience Designer

Role Overview

Senior User Experience (UX) Designer at Striveworks, partnering with product, engineering, and data science to make sophisticated machine learning workflows intuitive and productive for expert users.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally to understand user needs, define user flows, and communicate design decisions that influence product strategy.
• Conduct user research activities (interviews, usability testing) and analyze feedback to drive rapid, iterative improvements.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma, synthesizing market/product strategy into end-to-end user experiences.
• Own and evolve the design system to enable faster, consistent collaboration across product, design, and engineering.
• Help integrate AI-assisted design workflows, fostering a user-centric culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant UX experience (with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in UX/HCI or related field).
• Portfolio showing strong craft plus systems thinking and strategic product impact.
• Deep proficiency with Figma.
• Ability to drive alignment across product and engineering without direct authority.
• Interest in AI-assisted and agentic tools for product design and building.
• Proactive, self-directed approach and comfort working through ambiguity.

Nice-to-Haves

• Demonstrated experience experimenting with AI-assisted/agentic design workflows and helping evolve how teams design and build products.

Work Location

• Fully remote option, or hybrid/on-site in northwest Austin, TX.
