Remote Senior Front End Web Developer

Role Overview

Senior Front End Web Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality websites using React, TypeScript, and Next.js (Node.js-based frameworks).

Responsibilities

• Participate in all project phases: planning, design, development, and delivery
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard
• Analyze and mitigate project risks
• Collaborate on technical requirements and produce documentation
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Translate visual designs into HTML/CSS and support implementation
• Support deployment and optimize website performance
• Handle major implementations and high-priority issues
• Contribute to technical strategy and system architecture

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years front-end development experience, with 5+ years in React
• Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js
• Experience with headless CMS (Contentful preferred)
• Experience with Shopify and Hydrogen
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1, SEO, and performance optimization
• Experience with cloud platforms: Vercel, AWS, Azure
• Familiarity with Figma/Photoshop, Git, and Agile methodologies
• Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, and ability to multi-task under pressure
• Understanding of deployment lifecycle, configuration management, and basic backend/web development
