Staff Product Designer (remote)

You’ll elevate design standards and create user experiences for a service that helps make car ownership simpler, safer, and more integrated into everyday life. This role influences how users interact with core product areas and helps set foundations for future product evolution.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for key products across insurance, safety, and repairs.
• Ship 0→1 features that modernize car care for everyday drivers.
• Collaborate with research, product, and data teams to turn insights into impactful designs.
• Create seamless UX that improves engagement and retention.
• Develop and maintain a cohesive design system for consistency and scalability.
• Integrate AI capabilities to streamline the user experience (faster, more personalized).
• Set UX and visual design benchmarks focused on clarity and craftsmanship.

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design, UX principles, and consumer-oriented products.
• 12+ years of product design experience across mobile and web.
• Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end: research → launch → iteration.
• Experience building/refining design systems with engineering collaboration.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while delivering high-quality work.
• Strong communication and storytelling to align diverse teams.
