Remote Junior Front-End Developer

Role Overview

PULSE is hiring a Remote Junior Front-End Developer for its remote team, based in the MENA region (Makkah Region listed). The role focuses on building modern, responsive user interfaces for healthcare and medical marketing experiences, collaborating with designers and marketers, and improving performance, SEO/CRO, and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Front-End Development
  • Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Convert UI/UX designs into clean, reusable, high-quality code.
  • Create landing pages, websites, and marketing assets for campaigns.
• Collaboration
  • Work with designers, marketers, and project managers for accurate implementation.
  • Support SEO, CRO, and performance-focused front-end updates.
• Performance & Optimization
  • Optimize for speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Ensure consistent responsiveness across desktop/tablet/mobile.
  • Follow accessibility and usability best practices.
• CMS & Content Management
  • Assist with maintaining and updating CMS-based sites, primarily WordPress.
  • Implement content updates, layouts, and templates.
• Quality Assurance
  • Identify and fix front-end bugs and UI inconsistencies.
  • Test across browsers and devices.
• Continuous Learning
  • Stay current with modern front-end practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and learn from senior developers.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of front-end development experience (including internships, freelance, or personal projects).
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of responsive/mobile-first design.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or similar) is a plus.
• Experience with WordPress/CMS is preferred.
• Git or other version control.
• Comfort with design tools (Figma/Adobe XD).
• Ability to support performance optimization and cross-browser testing.
• Clear communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, and willingness to learn remotely.

Preferred Qualifications

• Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
• Basic knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
• Exposure to healthcare/regulated industries.
• Familiarity with JavaScript build tools/workflows.
• Arabic is a strong advantage; English required.
