About the role

Role Overview

Junior Front-End Developer (Remote) for PULSE (EMEA region), based in MENA. You’ll build modern, responsive user interfaces for healthcare and medical clients, collaborating with designers, marketers, and project managers in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

Front-end development: build and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
Convert UI/UX designs into clean, reusable, high-quality front-end code.
Support creation of landing pages, websites, and marketing assets for digital campaigns.
Collaboration: work with designers, marketers, and PMs to ensure accurate implementation.
Support SEO, CRO, and performance-focused front-end updates.
Performance & optimization: improve speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
Ensure consistent responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Follow accessibility and usability best practices.
CMS & content: help maintain and update WordPress (primarily) and implement content/page/template updates.
Quality assurance: identify/fix front-end bugs and UI inconsistencies; test across browsers/devices.
Continuous learning: stay current with modern front-end practices; participate in code reviews and learn from senior developers.

Requirements

0–2 years front-end development experience (including internships, freelance, personal projects).
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
Understanding of responsive, mobile-first design.
Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React or Vue) is a plus.
Basic understanding of SEO-friendly front-end practices.
Familiarity with Git (or other version control).
Basic familiarity with design tools like Figma / Adobe XD.
Time management, clear communication, comfort working remotely.

Preferred / Nice-to-Haves

WordPress experience.
Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
Knowledge of WCAG accessibility.
Exposure to healthcare/regulated industries.
Familiarity with JavaScript build tools/workflows.
English fluency; Arabic is a strong advantage.
