About the role

Role Overview

Join PULSE as a Remote Junior Front-End Developer based in the MENA region. You’ll build modern, responsive user interfaces for healthcare and medical clients while collaborating with designers, marketers, and project managers.

Responsibilities

Front-End Development
- Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces
- Convert UI/UX designs into clean, reusable front-end code
- Build landing pages, websites, and marketing assets for digital campaigns
Collaboration
- Work with designers, marketers, and PMs to ensure accurate implementation
- Support SEO, CRO, and performance-focused front-end updates
Performance & Optimization
- Optimize for speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility
- Ensure consistent responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Apply best practices for accessibility and usability
CMS & Content Management
- Help maintain and update CMS-based websites, primarily WordPress
- Implement content updates, page layouts, and templates
Quality Assurance
- Identify and fix front-end bugs and UI inconsistencies
- Test across browsers and devices
Continuous Learning
- Stay current with modern front-end practices
- Participate in code reviews and learn from senior developers

Requirements

0–2 years of front-end development experience (internships, freelance, or personal projects count)
Hands-on experience with live websites/apps is a plus
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Understanding of responsive, mobile-first design

Nice-to-Haves

Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React or Vue, or similar)
Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms
Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap
Basic understanding of WCAG accessibility standards
Exposure to healthcare/regulated industries
Familiarity with JavaScript build tools/workflows

Tools & Skills

Git (version control)
Basic familiarity with design tools like Figma or Adobe XD
Performance optimization and cross-browser testing knowledge
Excellent communication and comfort working remotely

Location / Remote Policy

Fully remote within the MENA region; role is based in Saudi Arabia.
