Remote Junior Front-End Developer

Role overview

Join PulseMediaNL as a Remote Junior Front-End Developer (MENA region). You’ll help build modern, responsive user interfaces for healthcare and medical clients, collaborate closely with designers and marketers, and grow your skills in a fast-paced, learning-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Front-end development
  • Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly UI for healthcare/medical clients
  • Convert UI/UX designs into clean, reusable, high-quality code
  • Create and support landing pages, websites, and marketing assets for digital campaigns
• Collaboration
  • Work with designers, marketers, and project managers to ensure accurate implementation
  • Support SEO, CRO, and front-end performance improvements
• Performance & optimization
  • Optimize speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Ensure consistent responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile
  • Follow accessibility and usability best practices
• CMS & content management
  • Maintain/update CMS-based sites, primarily WordPress
  • Implement content updates, layouts, and templates
• Quality assurance
  • Identify and fix front-end bugs and UI inconsistencies
  • Test across browsers/devices to ensure reliability
• Continuous learning
  • Stay current with modern front-end technologies
  • Participate in code reviews and learn from senior developers

Requirements

• 0–2 years front-end experience (internships, freelance, or personal projects acceptable)
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Understanding of responsive, mobile-first design
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or similar) is a plus
• Experience with WordPress/CMS is preferred
• Basic understanding of SEO-friendly front-end practices
• Git (or other version control)
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma / Adobe XD
• Basic knowledge of performance optimization and cross-browser testing
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, clear communication, and ability to work remotely

Nice to have

• Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap
• Basic knowledge of WCAG accessibility
• Exposure to healthcare/regulated industries
• Familiarity with JavaScript build tools/workflows
• Arabic (advantage)
• Fluent English
