REMOTE - Junior DevOps Engineer I (Contingent)

Role Overview

Junior DevOps Engineer (Azure) — Remote (Contingent) This is a contract position that is contingent upon contract award and client approval. Candidates may be interviewed in advance to support rapid onboarding if the contract is awarded.

What You’ll Do

• Build, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure for modern application development.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support secure, repeatable software delivery.
• Work across Azure environments, focusing on automation, monitoring, and secure delivery practices.
• Integrate DevSecOps controls such as security scans and compliance checks into pipelines.
• Support containerized workloads (Docker/Kubernetes/AKS) where applicable.

What You’ll Bring

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on Azure services and administration.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience: Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
• Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes, with AKS preferred).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Azure Monitor, Dynatrace or equivalent).
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Understanding of DevSecOps and how to embed security/compliance into CI/CD.
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Requirements / Eligibility

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Some roles may require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a federal background investigation and/or security clearance.
