Role Overview

Remote iOS Engineer to develop and enhance the native iOS experience for the GrabJobs job platform. You will build intuitive, fast, and reliable mobile features that improve the journey for both job seekers and employers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS features for onboarding, job search, applications, messaging, and notifications.
• Implement complex financial/transactional flows with a focus on reliability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and AI specialists to deliver features from concept to deployment.
• Own app performance, stability, and responsiveness (minimize crashes, improve loading times).
• Use customer feedback, analytics, and behavioral data to improve features and user engagement.
• Integrate third-party APIs, authentication protocols, and secure data handling practices.
• Debug production issues and apply mobile development best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and support a culture of quality and innovation.

Requirements

• Strong native iOS development experience shipping real-user applications.
• Expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and modern iOS architecture patterns including async/await.
• Experience integrating APIs, secure data handling, and optimizing app performance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a user-centric mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and prioritize effectively.
• Strong English communication for collaboration across global teams.
