Remote iOS Developer

Role Overview

You’ll be an iOS Engineer working on the native iOS application for GrabJobs. The goal is to deliver a high-quality mobile experience that helps job seekers find opportunities efficiently and reliably.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS features that improve the user experience
• Build and ship functionality for:
  • onboarding
  • account management
  • job applications
  • notifications
  • AI-assisted user journeys
• Ensure key workflows (job search, applications, messaging) are seamless, fast, and intuitive
• Integrate APIs and handle secure data transactions, including reliability for financial workflows
• Translate product ideas into robust features in collaboration with Product, Design, Backend, and AI specialists
• Own app quality across performance, stability, and responsiveness
• Post-launch: analyze user feedback, performance metrics, and customer behavior to iterate
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize app performance

Qualifications

• Strong experience in native iOS development with a track record of shipping apps used by real users
• Swift proficiency (essential)
• Familiarity with SwiftUI, UIKit, async/await, and iOS architecture patterns
• Solid understanding of mobile UX/design principles and performance optimization
• Excellent debugging skills; ability to work well in fast-paced environments
• Passion for delivering reliable, high-quality products
• Strong English communication skills
• Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively in a remote setting

• Prior experience with financial or transaction-based apps
