Remote iOS Developer

Role Overview

You will be an iOS Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining the native iOS experience of GrabJobs. Your work focuses on building high-performance, reliable mobile features that support recruitment, job search, onboarding, and account/payment experiences for a large global user base.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship native iOS features for onboarding, account management, payment processing, and other core functions
• Build smooth, intuitive, and fast user flows for complex recruitment and financial workflows
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and AI teams to move ideas from ideation to production
• Maintain high app quality by monitoring performance metrics, reducing crash rates, and handling edge cases
• Implement secure authentication, reliable data handling, and compliant financial workflows
• Use analytics and customer/usage feedback to iteratively improve features and UX
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and iOS best practices
• Stay current with iOS development trends and apply improvements to the product

Requirements

• Proven native iOS development experience using Swift, with a portfolio of apps shipped to real users
• Strong knowledge of SwiftUI, UIKit, and async/await (asynchronous programming)
• Experience with iOS architecture patterns and scalable, maintainable code practices
• Strong product sense and UX/UI user-centered development mindset
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues, debug, optimize performance, and improve stability
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a proactive, adaptable approach
• Excellent English communication (written and verbal)
