Remote iOS Developer

Role Overview

We’re hiring a Remote iOS Engineer to build and enhance the native iOS experience for the GrabJobs platform. You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, backend developers, and AI specialists to deliver reliable, high-quality mobile features that improve onboarding and hiring journeys.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS features for the platform
• Build and ship functionality across:
  • Onboarding
  • Account management
  • Payment processing, transfers, and rewards
  • AI-assisted user journeys
• Translate complex financial workflows into intuitive, fast, and clean mobile UI
• Work end-to-end from concept to production with cross-functional teams
• Monitor and improve post-launch quality using:
  • App analytics
  • User feedback
  • Crash reports
• Integrate APIs and manage authentication with secure data handling
• Ensure reliability of financial transactions and robust app performance
• Maintain responsiveness, good loading times, and strong edge-case handling

Requirements

• Strong experience in native iOS development with shipped, real-user apps
• Proficiency in Swift
• Familiarity with modern iOS frameworks: SwiftUI and UIKit
• Solid understanding of async/await and asynchronous programming
• Knowledge of iOS architecture patterns and secure data handling best practices
• Strong debugging skills for production issues
• Excellent problem-solving and user-experience instincts
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
• Strong English communication skills for global collaboration

Nice to Have

• Experience building or integrating AI-assisted features in mobile apps
• Experience with analytics/crash monitoring and continuous improvement processes
