About the role
Role Overview
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) III is a strategic advisor to senior leaders, aligning HR strategies and initiatives with business objectives and organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders and an integral part of the leadership team.
- Act as the primary business contact to support an optimal work environment and advocate for employees.
- Understand the business and departmental strategic goals; guide HR priorities accordingly.
- Monitor internal and external changes in employment law, policies, and practices to identify and mitigate risk to employees and the business.
- Build transparent, high-trust relationships with employees and leadership.
- Analyze people data and trends (e.g., engagement surveys, exit interviews, employee feedback) and recommend actions for improvement.
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence, including:
- Talent Acquisition
- Talent Development
- Total Rewards
- Collaborate with other departments to remove barriers affecting employee or departmental performance.
- Assess and influence department dynamics to maximize effectiveness.
- Participate actively in the department and leadership team; promote cross-department collaboration and information sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, leadership, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of strategic HR Business Partner experience.
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Organizational design
- Change management
- Influencing executive leaders
- Strong employment law knowledge and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- Leadership experience and skills.
- HR certification such as PHR/SPHR or Strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP).
