Role Overview

Remote Full Stack Engineer – Payment Integration supporting a healthcare technology initiative. You will consult on integrating a new payment processor to create secure, efficient, and compliant payment workflows.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the current payment processing systems and identify improvement opportunities
• Advise on selecting and integrating a new payment processor
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure a seamless migration
• Develop and implement payment integration solutions using best coding practices
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data security and privacy standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during and after integration
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven experience integrating payment processors and related technologies
• Proficiency in full stack development (front-end and back-end)
• Strong coding skills in relevant languages/frameworks
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA)
• Ability to work independently and communicate complex technical concepts
• Experience collaborating with remote/distributed teams
• Availability for a multi-week (more than a week) fully remote engagement

• Healthcare payments domain experience and familiarity with healthcare-specific payment operations
