Remote Flutter Developer

Role overview

We’re seeking a Flutter Developer to design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android. You’ll help deliver seamless, scalable, user-centric experiences and partner with cross-functional teams to ship features reliably.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile apps using Flutter and Dart with high performance and responsiveness
• Build reusable, scalable UI components aligned with UX best practices
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to plan and implement features
• Write clean, well-structured, testable code following coding standards
• Implement and maintain unit, widget, and integration tests
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions in an Agile environment
• Debug and optimize app performance across devices and platforms
• Integrate with backend services and APIs for reliable data flow
• Implement and manage Firebase services (Authentication, Realtime Database, Crashlytics, Analytics)
• Integrate third-party SDKs (e.g., payment gateways / POS systems)
• Implement push notifications, deep linking, and mobile tracking/engagement flows
• Support adaptive layouts and Flutter Web features when needed
• Improve development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes for iOS/Android

Requirements

• Proven mobile application development experience with Flutter
• Strong Dart knowledge
• Familiarity with Flutter SDK and null safety
• Experience with custom widget creation, animations, platform channels, and adaptive layouts
• Ability to publish and/or maintain apps on both iOS and Android
• Strong knowledge of test-driven development, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to write maintainable code
• Fluency in English

Nice to have

• Familiarity with REST APIs and GraphQL
• Experience with Firebase (Authentication, Realtime Database, Crashlytics, Analytics)
• Experience integrating third-party SDKs, especially payment/POS systems
• Spanish proficiency (especially for collaboration with a Mexico-based team)
