About the role
Role Overview
Remote Developer Relations (DevRel) Engineer responsible for scaling and evolving the developer community and developer experience for a computer vision AI platform.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the DevRel strategy to drive awareness and adoption
- Develop tools and integrations that improve developer experience
- Build demo applications and projects that advance the core product and the state of the art
- Create demos, applications, and technical content; share progress across platforms (e.g., X, LinkedIn, Twitch)
- Produce educational content that inspires and equips developers
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design to support feature launches
- Write guides, examples, and documentation to improve accessibility
- Build and nurture community (online and in person)
- Speak at conferences, participate in hackathons, and host events
- Engage with developer communities including Hacker News, Reddit, Discord, GitHub, and forums
Requirements
- 6+ years of engineering experience
- 3+ years of DevRel experience (ideally B2B, AI, cloud, or developer tools)
- Proven track record shipping projects that achieve strong adoption or viral growth
- Strong technical foundation with the ability to build quickly and learn rapidly
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging content
- Experience creating content across written, video, and social formats
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and iterates quickly
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Customer-focused approach to deeply understand the product and ecosystem
- Active participant in technical communities

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $175,000–$195,000 (reviewed every 6 months)
