Remote: Android Developer (Card tokenization)

Role Overview

Remote Android Developer to build and maintain secure, high-performance financial mobile applications, with a focus on card tokenization and secure payment flows.

Responsibilities

• Payment & Security Integration: Implement secure payment flows including card tokenization, merchant validation, and secure transaction handling (e.g., Google Pay and tokenization services).
• Android App Development: Design and build advanced Android features using Kotlin.
• Architecture & Code Quality: Develop scalable apps using MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Jetpack components (e.g., ViewModel, StateFlow).
• API & Data Handling: Integrate RESTful APIs and implement secure data parsing.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (UX, Backend, Product) in an Agile environment.
• Testing & Debugging: Perform unit and instrumentation testing (e.g., Espresso/Mockito) and optimize app performance.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Hands-on experience with payment gateways, tokenization, or FinTech/financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, and modern Android frameworks.
• Solid understanding of secure coding practices and mobile data protection.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
