Remote Android Developer

Role overview

You’ll join the team as a Remote Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain Android mobile applications. The role is remote, with the position being based out of Noida.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Android applications with strong performance and responsiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features
• Identify and troubleshoot bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other issues
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation to streamline development
• Apply best practices for UI/UX, offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries to extend app functionality
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to support maintainability and scalability
• Stay current with emerging mobile technologies and trends

Requirements

• 3–6 years of relevant experience as an Android Developer
• Proven track record with a portfolio of released Android apps
• Hands-on experience with the Android SDK and at least one app published on the Google Play Store
• Proficiency with Git and familiarity with continuous integration (CI) practices

Nice to have

• Degree in a relevant field (acceptable as long as technical expertise is demonstrated)
