Regional Director Sales - CEUR

Role Overview

Chainguard is seeking a Director of Sales (Regional Director Sales - CEUR) to join its growing sales team and manage 5–7 Account Executives.

Responsibilities

• Report to the AVP of Sales and manage a team of 5–7 Account Executives
• Drive and execute the team’s business and revenue goals
• Create a collaborative environment that supports learning and growth
• Build and improve processes for AE onboarding and ramping
• Own forecasting, territory/industry management, and growth plans
• Establish and report on team performance metrics
• Ensure alignment with supporting teams across Marketing, Customer Success, BDR, Sales Engineering, and Customer Engineering
• Set strategy for Chainguard’s largest accounts

Requirements

• 6+ years selling technical products (open source, DevOps, or security experience preferred)
• 3+ years managing high-performing software sales teams
• Experience working with CSP marketplaces
• Proven record of meeting/exceeding targets (revenue, pipeline, etc.)
• Experience selling to Fortune 500 and willingness to “roll up your sleeves”
• Existing enterprise customer relationships in DACH
• Experience with CRM and marketing automation systems
• Strong judgment and ability to handle a fast-paced environment
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Experience in growth/hyper-growth environments
• Ability to travel as needed
