Regional Business Development Manager

Role Overview

Regional Business Development Manager for a greenfield division focused on robotics and consumer electronics markets. This is a highly visible, remote role centered on hunting and opportunity creation rather than immediate revenue generation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and projects
• Prospect for and open strategic customer relationships
• Generate long-term business opportunities and expand market presence
• Work independently to find new accounts and build relationships with prospective customers
• Maintain pipeline/customer engagement and organizational rigor
• Travel within the region as needed

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in business development, strategic sales, or account growth
• Proven ability to prospect, develop, and open new business opportunities
• Strong communication, relationship management, and influencing skills
• Ability to operate independently in a remote environment with minimal structure
• Comfort in fast-paced, changing business environments
• Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce (preferred)
• Strong organizational and pipeline management capabilities

Nice to Have

• Experience in technical/engineering, robotics, electronics, or consumer technology industries

Location / Remote Policy

• Remote with preference for candidates on the West Coast, particularly California

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $110,000–$140,000 per year (depending on experience)
