Role Overview

Regional Business Development Manager for Siemens’ Power OEM Business Development team (Circuit Protection & Controls / Siemens Smart Infrastructure – Electrical Products).

Field-based role covering the Southeastern Region (Remote), partnering closely with the sales organization and directly with customers. Acts as a business development consultant with a mix of business, commercial, and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships; resolve regional customer challenges.
  • Provide technical support and consulting using relevant standards such as NEC, ANSI, NEMA, and UL.
  • Demonstrate expertise in low-voltage circuit protection and AC/DC (under 1000V) applications.
  • Support the AMPLIFY Program Manager with projects and activities aligned to program guidelines.
  • Lead special project teams across EP business segments, sales, and support groups.
  • Contribute to customer account business planning with customers, sales, and BU resources.
  • Prospect and onboard new accounts; promote products and programs.
  • Support pricing and quotation approvals in collaboration with business support and BU management to maintain target profitability.
  • Handle commercial topics and facilitate internal collaboration to ensure customer support.
  • Manage delivery of marketing/technical materials and customer training.
  • Monitor sales activity and run regular reviews with sales teams, customers, and Siemens management.
  • Track the opportunity pipeline and perform forecasting.
  • Assist Product Management with new product rollouts (training, supporting docs, competitive analysis, promotions).
