Role Overview
Reddit Developer (part-time, remote)
Butterknife® is seeking a Reddit Developer to help build and grow Reddit-based community engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop, automate, and maintain Reddit-related tools and integrations
- Collaborate with the team to create and manage Reddit community engagement initiatives
- Moderate Reddit communities and foster healthy community participation
- Track and report performance metrics to monitor community success
- Implement strategies to boost user engagement
Requirements
- Experience with Reddit development, including API integrations
- Ability to build custom Reddit tools
- Strong community management skills, including moderating and driving engagement
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely
- Ability to support content creation across social media platforms
- Technical proficiency with one or more relevant programming languages/frameworks (e.g., Next.js, Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes, Snowflake, or similar)
- Data analytics and performance tracking skills to measure Reddit outcomes
Nice to Have
- Experience with online communities and/or social media management
- Background in influencer marketing and the creator economy ecosystem
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)
Compensation & Scheduling
- $1,500/month consulting fee
- Approximately 20 hours/month
