About the role

Role Overview

Recruiter (Path to Head of Talent) for a remote consumer crypto-trading startup in the United States. This is an early in-house recruiting role where you will own recruiting end-to-end and evolve into a Head of Talent within 1–2 years.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruiting processes across multiple open roles
  • Manage relationships with external recruiting partners
  • Source and identify strong candidates; map where best talent pools live for each role
  • Build candidate profiles and define clear evaluation criteria (including example backgrounds and success signals)
  • Partner with founders to iterate on sourcing strategy, improve response times, and streamline coordination
  • Transition hiring from intuition-based to a systematic, scalable approach as the team grows

Requirements

  • 1–4 years of experience in recruiting/talent or a closely related function (internship experience and exceptional drive may qualify)
  • Experience in startups, venture capital, or quant-style talent environments
  • Genuine desire to specialize in talent long-term and grow into a Head of Talent role
  • Highly organized, comfortable owning coordination across many moving parts
  • Ability to match founders’ fast pace (strong candidate closing in days)

Bonus

  • Experience recruiting for or within early-stage startups
  • Background at a venture firm or recruiting-focused organization
