Real Time Drilling Ops Centre Analyst

Role overview

The DrillOps Field Deployment Lead supports and operates rig-site IT infrastructure for drilling operations. You’ll manage wellsite IT equipment and connectivity, handle software updates, oversee data management, and coordinate communication between the rig and remote centers.

Responsibilities

• Own/operate rig-IT infrastructure and software updates
• Manage IT equipment inventory control
• Ensure data management and communication between the rig site and remote centers
• Use and support wellsite execution systems, including data acquisition/core and services components (basic user)
• Understand Orchestra & Prism systems
• Establish and maintain data links between town and wellsite networks
• Manage user access and permissions
• Troubleshoot issues across:
  • IT infrastructure
  • RCS and Coda systems
  • Sensors and cabling
• Perform operational tasks such as restarting virtual machines

Requirements

• 3 years of experience (as stated)
• Comfort working in the rig environment and with wellsite IT infrastructure

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced knowledge/access to wellsite IT infrastructure and experience with Orchestra & Prism systems
