Role overview

Lead the development of scalable cross-platform web and mobile applications using React.js and React Native on a remote contract basis.

Responsibilities

Lead development of scalable React.js and React Native applications
Build reusable UI components and enterprise design systems
Implement theming systems and design token architecture
Optimize application performance for both web and mobile
Manage monorepo architecture using Nx or Turborepo
Collaborate with product, backend, and DevOps teams
Establish frontend best practices, testing standards, and CI/CD workflows
Mentor developers and provide technical leadership

Requirements

Strong expertise in React.js and React Native
TypeScript
MobX
vanilla-extract
Design tokens / theming systems
Monorepo architecture (Turborepo or Nx)
Jest, React Testing Library, React Native Testing Library
npm & pnpm, Git
CI/CD pipelines
Full-stack architecture familiarity and performance optimization experience

Preferred qualifications

10+ years of software development experience
Experience with enterprise-scale frontend architecture
Strong testing framework and performance tuning background
Experience working in Agile environments
