About the role

Role Overview

Damco is seeking a ReactJS Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications for its digital platforms. You’ll collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to deliver scalable, efficient solutions that improve user experience and streamline internal operations.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React.js and related UI frameworks
Integrate APIs and server-side components into client-facing platforms for smooth functionality
Partner with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly, visually appealing interfaces
Build custom React components and reusable UI frameworks to enhance functionality
Improve performance via caching, state management best practices, and code efficiency
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure quality
Stay current with React and frontend trends, tools, and best practices
Work with backend teams to understand API specifications and ensure correct integration
Document technical specifications and support development cycles

Requirements

3+ years of experience in React.js web development
Strong foundation in React.js and UI frameworks; experience creating custom components
Good understanding of backend technologies such as Java and Node.js
Hands-on experience with API integration, RESTful services, and server-side rendering (SSR)
Familiarity with Redux for state management, plus caching strategies and performance optimization
Experience building single-page applications (SPAs)
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on design and user experience
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team
