React Native Mobile Developer

Role overview

You’ll join OnePay as a React Native Mobile Developer, building elegant, animation-rich mobile experiences that improve customers’ financial lives. The role is end-to-end, from concept to launch, within a remote-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop simple, elegant mobile experiences with an emphasis on UI animations and interaction design.
• Build and ship features rich in animations that improve clarity and delight in customers’ financial journeys.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver interaction and motion design concepts.
• Optimize mobile performance across devices, addressing rendering and device resource constraints.

Requirements

• Owner mentality: proactively identify problems and drive them to resolution.
• Strong UI animation and interaction design experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience shipping iOS and Android apps with React Native.
• Solid understanding of mobile performance optimization (e.g., frame rate, rendering, device constraints).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with animation/interaction tooling such as:
  • React Native Reanimated
  • Gesture Handler
  • Lottie
  • Native animation APIs
• Strong code quality, communication, and team culture alignment.
