React Developer

Role Overview

The Value Maximizer is seeking a React Developer (Remote) to join a distributed team supporting a financial services client. You will build high-performance, secure, and scalable front-end applications used in critical financial workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js
• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, reusable code
• Collaborate with backend developers, product managers, and designers
• Optimize for performance, scalability, and security
• Implement state management solutions such as Redux or Context API
• Ensure code quality via testing, code reviews, and best practices
• Integrate RESTful APIs and financial data services
• Support cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
• Hands-on expertise in React.js and core principles
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux or Zustand)
• Familiarity with API integration (REST/GraphQL)
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
• Knowledge of modern build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite)
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

Preferred / Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in financial services / FinTech
• Security best practices for web applications
• Testing frameworks: Jest, React Testing Library
• CI/CD pipeline exposure
• TypeScript (plus)
• Micro-frontend architecture
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Agile/Scrum experience
