React Developer - Fully Remote | Upto $75/hr

Role Overview

Mercor is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) for contract work. The position focuses on building EHR integrations, clinical workflows, and patient/provider-facing interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust TypeScript/Node.js services for EHR integrations and clinical workflows.
• Deploy and operate microservices on AWS using containerization.
• Build React/TypeScript web interfaces for providers and patients, optimized for desktop and mobile.
• Develop integrations with patient-education and patient-engagement vendors (notifications and tracking).
• Participate in code reviews and system-design discussions, balancing quality with startup speed.

Requirements (Must-Have)

• 3–5 years of professional experience building production software systems with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Strong CS fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, OOP, concurrency, distributed systems.
• Node.js API development using RESTful and/or event-driven approaches (e.g., Nest/Express).
• Strong frontend skills with React and TypeScript; mobile and desktop optimization.
• Ability to debug across distributed services and work agilely in a startup environment.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident and located in the United States.

Preferred

• Background in healthcare startups or health-data integration.
• Experience with high-throughput messaging platforms.
• Cloud experience: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Tailwind CSS expertise.

Logistics

• Hybrid role with onsite days in Seattle, WA (despite “Fully Remote” title).
