React Developer - Fully Remote | Upto $75/hr

Role Overview

Mercor is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) on a contract basis. You will build and operate backend services and user-facing interfaces for EHR integrations and clinical workflows, with hybrid onsite days in Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust TypeScript/Node.js services for EHR integrations and clinical workflows.
• Deploy and operate microservices on AWS using containerization.
• Build React/TypeScript interfaces for provider- and patient-facing experiences (desktop and mobile optimized).
• Develop integrations with patient education and patient engagement vendors (notifications and tracking).
• Participate in code reviews and system design discussions, balancing quality and startup speed.

Requirements (Must-Have)

• 3–5 years of professional experience building production software with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Strong CS fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, OOP design, concurrency, distributed systems.
• Node.js API development (RESTful and/or event-driven), using NestJS/Express.
• Strong front-end skills with React and TypeScript, including responsive optimization for mobile and desktop.
• Ability to debug across distributed services and work agilely in a startup environment.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident located in the United States; hybrid role with onsite days in Seattle, WA.

Preferred

• Background in healthcare startups or health-data integrations.
• Experience with high-throughput messaging platforms.
• Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Tailwind CSS expertise.

Contract Details & Compensation

• Pay: $55–$75/hour (listed as up to $75/hr)
