React Developer (Contract) - USA

Role Overview

Contract React Developer (Remote, U.S.) working as an embedded resource within an enterprise customer’s development team. Build and maintain React-based applications that run on the HERE (OpenFin) platform.

Responsibilities

• React Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain React apps running on the HERE (OpenFin) desktop environment.
• Platform Integration: Use HERE interoperability APIs plus workspace management and notification capabilities to integrate with the customer’s existing stack.
• Customer Integration: Participate in the customer’s sprints, stand-ups, and development workflows while delivering production-ready solutions.
• Technical Delivery: Build well-tested, performant React components; write clean, maintainable code; contribute to code reviews.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to HERE platform integration and React performance.
• Collaboration & Communication: Act as the primary technical liaison between the customer team and HERE engineering/product; provide status updates and escalate issues/feature requests.
• Platform Expertise: Stay current with HERE platform releases and API capabilities; identify improvements for the customer’s implementation.
• Quality & Standards: Follow customer coding standards and testing practices; ensure deliverables are well-documented and production-ready.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional React development experience (ideally in financial services or enterprise SaaS).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work embedded within a customer team.
• Expert-level proficiency in React and JavaScript/TypeScript.

Contract Details

• Initial 6-month engagement with potential full-time conversion (either with HERE or the customer).
• Fully remote (U.S.), candidates must be based in Eastern time zone and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
