React Developer (100% Remote - U.S.)

Role overview

Build and maintain modern, enterprise-grade Single Page Applications (SPAs) using React and TypeScript. Integrate with enterprise APIs, cloud services, and microservices-based backend platforms, while collaborating with product, UX/UI, backend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver responsive, scalable, and maintainable user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain React + TypeScript enterprise SPAs
• Create reusable UI components aligned with enterprise design system standards
• Build responsive experiences for desktop, tablet, and mobile
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services
• Implement client-side state management using Redux Toolkit, React Query, Zustand, or Context API
• Optimize performance (lazy loading, code splitting, memoization, virtualization, efficient rendering)
• Implement authentication/authorization using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and providers like Azure AD, Okta, or Auth0
• Add real-time capabilities using WebSockets, SignalR, or SSE
• Create reusable hooks, utilities, and shared component packages
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Participate in architecture/code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies
• Troubleshoot production issues and front-end performance bottlenecks
• Work with DevOps to automate deployments via CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• 5+ years professional front-end development experience
• 4+ years hands-on React experience building enterprise applications
• Strong proficiency in React 18+, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
• Deep knowledge of React Hooks, functional components, Context API, Suspense, Error Boundaries, and lifecycle
• Experience with state management: Redux Toolkit/Redux, Zustand, React Query (TanStack Query), or Context API
• Strong HTML5/CSS3; experience with SCSS, Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or CSS Modules
• Experience integrating REST and GraphQL
• Experience with authentication technologies such as JWT, OAuth2, Azure AD, Okta, Auth0, or OpenID Connect
• Responsive design + accessibility (WCAG), semantic HTML, and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with modern front-end build tools (e.g., Vite, Webpack, Babel, etc.)

Nice-to-haves / additional skills (from responsibilities)

• Converting Figma/Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect, accessible UIs
• Experience with performance techniques like virtualization
