Quality Assurance Tester

Role overview

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Tester, you’ll be the final line of defense before releases for MenuFit’s iOS & Android apps and web platforms. You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering to ensure the team ships with confidence and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end QA across mobile (iOS/Android) and web platforms.
• Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases (including edge cases), regression suites, and perform exploratory testing.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for UI, API, and integration layers.
• Partner with Scrum teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure appropriate test coverage (functional + regression).
• Implement clear bug reporting, escalation, and build sign-off workflows.
• Use Jira for issue tracking and sprint management.
• Communicate risks and findings clearly to stakeholders; align teams around quality standards.

Requirements

• 3–5 years owning end-to-end QA for mobile apps (iOS/Android) and web platforms.
• Strong manual testing skills: test case design/maintenance, regression testing, and exploratory testing.
• Automation experience spanning UI, API, and integration layers.
• Collaboration experience in Scrum with Product and Engineering (acceptance criteria + test coverage).
• Experience with bug reporting/escalation/build sign-off workflows.
• Proficiency with Jira.
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Nice to have

• Mobile automation frameworks: Appium, XCUITest, Espresso.
• API testing tools: Postman or REST Assured.
• CI/CD test automation integration (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Scripting language for test automation: Python, JavaScript, or Swift.
• Test management tools such as TestRail.
• Background in performance/load testing.
• Personal passion/experience with health, fitness, or wellness products.
