Quality Assurance Tester

Role Overview

Remote QA Tester (US) focusing on validating both software and AI-generated code. You’ll write test plans and test cases to evaluate AI output accuracy and code execution, while ensuring the company’s platform remains reliable for thousands of daily users.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Code Validation: Execute, test, and benchmark AI-generated code snippets for functionality, security, efficiency, and requirement compliance.
• Test Case Development: Create detailed, reusable manual and automated test cases, acceptance criteria, and test plans for both AI outputs and platform features.
• Platform Quality Assurance: Perform end-to-end (E2E), regression, and exploratory testing across web applications and annotator tools.
• Bug Tracking & Reporting: Document edge cases, reproduce bugs, and provide actionable feedback to engineering and AI training pipelines.
• Automation: Build and maintain automated testing scripts to support continuous testing workflows where applicable.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software QA/testing experience.
• Proficiency reading/writing/debugging code in at least one: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C++.
• Ability to evaluate AI-assisted/machine-generated code for syntax issues, logical bugs, and edge-case failures.
• Hands-on experience with manual test creation, boundary testing, unit tests, and API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
• Strong attention to detail for edge cases and subtle security vulnerabilities.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with automated testing frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or PyTest.
• Background in AI training or LLM evaluation (e.g., RLHF).
• Familiarity with crowdsourcing or gig-platform QA workflows.

Location / Work Model

• Must be based in the United States and comfortable working remotely.
• 100% remote flexibility within the US.
