Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview

Join the ServiceNow QA team as a ServiceNow Quality Assurance Engineer on a full-time remote basis. You will design, develop, and run comprehensive testing to ensure ServiceNow applications are functional, performant, and reliable for production deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks for multiple projects
• Partner with developers to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Create test scenarios, cases, and scripts from user stories and acceptance criteria
• Execute performance tests using tools such as Locust, JMeter, or Playwright
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and reviews to plan and coordinate QA activities
• Manage testing environments and coordinate QA across project phases
• Present testing results to Product Owners and stakeholders and secure sign-off
• Track, verify, and resolve defects and requirement changes
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices
• Mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement in testing practices

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in software application testing
• 2+ years of performance testing experience using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar
• Experience with automation testing frameworks/tools: FitNesse, Cucumber, Jenkins, Bamboo
• Proficiency in Java
• Strong Agile knowledge and ability to create test cases from acceptance criteria
• Hands-on experience with test management tools: Jira and Zephyr Squad
• Experience across testing types: functional, regression, exploratory, load, and performance
• Ability to develop test strategies, plans, and scripts
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
