About the role

Role Overview

Join Reveal Technology’s Human Systems team as a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with a primary focus on Android testing and quality, while also supporting cloud-based systems testing. You’ll shape quality throughout development by designing and executing test strategies, contributing to automation, and partnering with developers and product teams.

Responsibilities

Perform manual testing across the product suite, primarily on Android and cloud-based systems
Create and maintain test cases and contribute to test planning based on feature scope and risk
Contribute to test automation using Espresso, with a transition toward tooling/frameworks supporting Jetpack Compose
Collaborate with engineers and product teams to communicate issues, validate fixes, and align on testing timelines
Validate functionality, performance, and user experience across Android and cloud environments
Adapt to new initiatives and take ownership of evolving testing areas

Requirements

2–5+ years of experience testing/building/shipping complex software
Technical Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
Strong balance of manual exploratory testing and automation
Experience with at least one mobile automation framework (Espresso or Appium, etc.), with a preference for Android
Ability to document, reproduce, and troubleshoot issues with clear, actionable detail
Analytical/problem-solving mindset
Experience with test management tools (e.g., Qase, TestRail, or similar)
Familiarity with command line environments (Linux, macOS, or Windows)
Ability to work independently, plan/prioritize, and deliver results in a remote environment
Comfortable testing Android and cloud-based systems

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $50,000–$80,000 + equity (final salary based on experience, skills, and internal equity)
