Quality Assurance Engineer (Remote) — contract role focused on ensuring software quality through testing and validation. You’ll collaborate with development teams to identify defects, verify fixes, and improve reliability across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and document test cases to validate software functionality and performance
- Identify, report, and track software defects using a defect tracking system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine product requirements
- Automate test cases to improve regression testing efficiency and coverage
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability of components
Requirements
- Experience with manual and automated testing frameworks and tools
- Proficiency in writing test cases and executing test plans
- Knowledge of bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira)
- Familiarity with API and UI testing methodologies
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues and validate fixes
