Quality Assurance Engineer (Remote)

Role Overview

Quality Assurance Engineer (Remote) on a contract basis. You will ensure software products meet defined quality standards through systematic testing and validation, collaborating with development teams to identify defects and verify fixes.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and document test cases to validate software functionality and performance.
• Identify, report, and track software defects to ensure resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine product requirements.
• Automate test cases to improve regression testing efficiency and coverage.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability of software components.

Requirements

• Experience with manual and automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Proficiency in writing test cases and executing test plans.
• Knowledge of bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira or similar).
• Familiarity with API and UI testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues and verify fixes.
