Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview

Frasco is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to help deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions for customer-facing and internal systems. You will support both strategic initiatives and ongoing business-as-usual (BAU) improvements across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute QA strategies aligned with business goals and technical requirements
• Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing across web applications, APIs, and integrated systems
• Build and maintain automated test solutions to improve efficiency and coverage
• Validate data integrity, system interactions, and third-party integrations
• Identify, track, and support resolution of defects and production issues
• Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure usability, performance, and reliability
• Champion QA best practices and contribute to scalable, repeatable testing frameworks

Requirements

• 3–6+ years of QA / software testing experience
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and integrated systems
• Working in Agile environments and supporting both projects and BAU operations
• Test management tools: Azure DevOps and/or Jira
• Automated testing tools: Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• API testing tools: Postman
• Understanding of SDLC and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, communication, and documentation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities

Nice to Have

• Data validation and SQL
• Experience with enterprise/CRM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)
• Building/scaling test automation frameworks
• Production support or incident management
• Basic front-end knowledge: HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Logistics & Compensation

• Full-time, fully remote (equipment provided)
• Location listed: Irvine, CA
• Compensation: $36–$43 per hour
• Reports to: VP of Information Technology
