About the role

Role Overview

Quality Assurance Engineer (AI Model Training) to help train AI chatbots. You will evaluate model progress and assess the quality of responses, focusing on correctness, logic, and performance.

Responsibilities

Provide coding challenges to AI chatbots and evaluate their outputs
Assess AI model answers for correctness and performance
Identify problems and apply fixes to improve model quality
For each coding challenge, explain how your solution addresses the problem

Requirements

Proficiency in at least one of: Python and/or JavaScript
Ability to solve coding problems (e.g., LeetCode, HackerRank)
Strong command of one or more programming languages: JavaScript, Python, C#, C++, HTML, SQL, or Swift
Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Detail-oriented approach
Experience with algorithms, data structures, and debugging workflows
Bachelor’s degree preferred (current/in-progress/completed)

Nice to Haves

Prior experience in AI evaluation or QA work (implied by the model evaluation focus)

Remote (full-time or part-time)
Choose which projects to work on and your own schedule
Independent contract role; paid hourly up to $60 USD/hour plus bonuses for high-quality/high-volume work
