About the role
Role Overview
As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Array, you’ll ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of products used by millions of users. You’ll partner with engineers to help ship reliable, scalable code and improve confidence across releases.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with squads building applications in Go, Node.js, and other stacks to ensure end-to-end quality
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks for APIs, microservices, and user-facing features
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with engineers to keep releases fast and reliable
- Embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to raise confidence at scale
- Develop expertise in testing distributed systems, performance, and cross-environment reliability
- Use AI tools to think, build, and ship faster (e.g., for test generation)
Requirements
- Experience testing across multiple stacks including Go, Node.js, Java, and C# in fast-moving teams
- Track record building automated test frameworks for production systems
- Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP and securing apps at scale
- Strong instinct for using Generative AI (e.g., Copilot, LLM agents) to write test cases and generate data while keeping a human-in-the-loop mindset
- Hands-on with containerized environments: Docker and Kubernetes, plus CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency with databases for validation and backend quality: Postgres, SQL Server, MongoDB
